My Punny Valentine.

Dear 30,

Credit Heather Torpy for the perfect title for this totally cool Des Moines Register Article featuring XO-LP goods. Wahoo! I braved the snowy (again. snowy) roads, making my way to Starbucks for the newspaper, oh and coffee, where I flung open the Iowa Life section declaring "I drew these!" to the sweet barista.

Valentine's Day is my fav. In fact, my first set of cards I ever attempted to sell were Valentines. There's many of my little love notes out in the world. I made them for my college roommates, my first employees at Drake, family, new friends, and some lucky stranger at the 73rd street Starbucks. What's sweeter than a punny greeting declaring "I like you beary much"? I don't know, either.

There's still time to send your brother, you grandmother, your significant other or your barista a sweet little declaration of many levels of love. Maybe you like her a latte.

Thanks for the many "likes" (on Facebook and via high five). I have the greatest friends: thanks for believing in this little postcard dream. And thanks, to everyone, for helping me to #sendmoremail. Look for a lot of love coming your way this Valentine Week.

Still in need of a gift for your lover, your kid's teacher or your best friend in Colorado? Here are a few ideas that'll make your day of love (or any day of love) that much lovey-er:
- Proper knows how to make a lady's heart sing.
- YPOTY Liz Lidgett has some expert art picks for your lover or for those in love
- Kiley has the perfect list of hearts and sweet things for your sweetheart.
- Need a tasty treat for Friday morning? Chels makes one with chocolate.
- Take your sweetie to a movie. Nick will help you find just the right one.

Off to draw more hearts and punny valentines...
