Oh Give Me a Home.

We've yet to see a buffalo or a big horn sheep, but if I were one of them, I'd live here.

Montana lives up to the hype. Big, expansive skies. Tiny towns filled with cowboys and roadside bars ('sup Drummond!) We slowed to 50 mph (in Montana you can drive 80mph on highways, rolling down to 50 was a significant slow down) each time we crossed another crystal river sure to be home to record bull trout. I mean, look at it.

We've made ourselves comfortable in our quaint cabin quarters, cooking tonight on a real stove which always feels like a luxury when you're on the road. I think we're going to be perfectly happy in Montana for a few days.

May the trout gods be with us.
