Mail-A-Thon
My friend Kiley is thoughtful, stylish and generous. She's also running a marathon, and not just because she's courageous (and a super human that enjoys pushing her bodily limits and running 26.1 miles, whew)
She's running the New York City Marathon to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society through Team in Training.
Kiley has a personal story behind her support, as do so many of us. Cancer is the worst, touching too many of us. This year, in just 365 days, over 500,000 Americans are expected to die of cancer. Over half a million families will feel the brutal effects of cancer. Just typing that sentence breaks my heart.
Kiley's marathon goal: raise $10,000 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and support their quest for a cure. I had to help.
Together we created a set of 6 thoughtful notecards. Inspired by Emily McDowell's incredible empathy cards, Sonny and Cher, and the many brave souls we know pushing through the hard stuff in life, the sweet lil notes are messages of support, of wholehearted "I'm there for you" ness.
